Kitchen reset!
As a busy mom, I know how easily the kitchen can become the most chaotic spot in the house. That's why I swear by a regular kitchen reset to bring back some sanity and sparkle! It’s not just about cleaning; it’s about reclaiming your space and making meal prep a joy again. My ultimate kitchen cleaning reset usually starts with a good declutter. I take a few minutes to put away anything that doesn't belong, clear off the countertops, and tackle any dirty dishes piled in the sink. This initial step makes such a huge difference – it instantly feels less overwhelming! Next, I move onto wiping down all surfaces. I use a multi-surface cleaner for my countertops, the stovetop, and even the backsplash. Don't forget to wipe down the fronts of your cabinets and appliances – those get surprisingly grimy! For a deeper clean, I sometimes pull out my trusty oven cleaner or tackle the inside of the microwave, which often gets neglected. Then, I sweep and mop the floor. It’s amazing how much crumbs and spills accumulate throughout the week. A freshly mopped floor just completes the whole clean kitchen vibe. If I have extra time, I'll even do a quick fridge purge, tossing expired items and wiping down shelves. It's all about making small, manageable steps to achieve that big, satisfying kitchen reset feeling.
