The Scripture says, “Whatever a man sows, that he will also reap” (Galatians 6:7). When you do something for someone else, God’s going to do special things for you. When you help others, He will help you.
Starting my day with thoughts from Proverbs, Luke, and Galatians truly reshapes my perspective on giving and receiving. I once volunteered at a community center during a difficult time in my life, deeply focused on helping others without expecting anything in return. To my surprise, not only did I find joy in the smiles of those I aided, but doors also opened for me professionally and personally. Reflecting on the message "The one who blesses others is abundantly blessed," I see how kindness creates a ripple effect. Acts of generosity, whether big or small, strengthen our connections and nurture faith, hope, and love—the very blessings we seek. It’s like planting seeds: the more you sow in care and goodwill, the richer your harvest of peace and fulfillment.
