Hi everyone! I’m Emma, long time scroller first time poster. I’m hoping to be active on this platform for monitoring my productivity and habits (accountability vibe) and to have some fun! 😘
I am a second year neuroscience major at georgia tech, and here are some things that I love: theatre, kpop, crochet, cats (& all animals), horror movies & books, & reading in general. I am an avid emoji user 😶🌫️

... Read moreHey everyone! So glad you're curious to learn a bit more about me, Emma. You might've seen my 'Get to Know Me' post, and I'm really excited to dive deeper into what makes me, well, *me*! As a 20-year-old Neuroscience and Biology major at Georgia Tech, life is definitely a balancing act. People often ask what it's like studying something so intense, and honestly, it's challenging but incredibly rewarding. One of the best parts is getting to explore the mysteries of the brain, which ties into my love for reading and understanding complex stories, whether they're in a textbook or a horror novel! It's a constant journey of discovery, and I'm always learning something new, which I find incredibly motivating.
Speaking of Georgia Tech, it's such a vibrant place. When I'm not buried in labs or lectures, I love exploring the campus and finding little spots to crochet. It’s my go-to stress reliever – there’s something so meditative about creating something with your hands, especially after a long day of analytical thinking. I’ve even started a few K-pop inspired crochet projects! And of course, being a theatre kid at heart, I cherish any chance to catch a play or just immerse myself in the arts scene here. It’s a great way to unwind and connect with a different side of myself, ensuring I don't get too caught up in just academics.
Now, let's talk about my furry family! My cat, Ruby, is truly the queen of my apartment. If you're looking for 'emma ruby age', you've found me! She’s not just a pet; she’s my constant companion and the best study buddy, even if her main contribution is napping on my textbooks. Her playful antics and purrs are the perfect antidote to any academic stress. I also have another cat, Leo, who's just as much a part of the chaos! Being a cat lover, I honestly think my pets keep me grounded. They remind me to take breaks, enjoy the simple moments, and just appreciate the warmth of a purring furball. Plus, having them around definitely helps with my accountability goals – someone always needs feeding!
I also wanted to share a bit more about my love for K-pop and horror media. These aren't just hobbies; they're huge parts of my identity. K-pop's energy and incredible artistry are such a mood booster, especially when I need a burst of motivation for my studies or my productivity tracking. And horror, whether it's movies or books, has always fascinated me. There's a thrill in exploring the darker aspects of human nature and storytelling that I find incredibly engaging. It might sound like a lot – neuroscience, cats, K-pop, horror – but it all fits together to make my journey here at Georgia Tech uniquely mine. My goal on this platform is to share more about these experiences, my habits, and maybe even some crochet projects! Thanks for getting to know me a little better, and I can't wait to connect with you all.
