This victory empowers us to be reminders of hope in someone's darkness, knowing that the Light we reflect has conquered even death itself. So, how do we practically live with this same love and purpose, as the original article prompts us? For me, it means consciously choosing to see others through the lens of God's love, understanding that every person, no matter their circumstances, deserves to experience a glimpse of that light. It’s about showing compassion, offering a listening ear, or simply being a stable presence in someone’s chaotic world. Just as the image of John in dark robes kneeling in a dimly lit archway implies a solitary witness to the Light, we too, in our own corners of the world, can choose to be that witness. It's about remembering that even when Jesus wasn't recognized, He still showed up.
