I’ve found that during moments of uncertainty or emotional pain, allowing myself to simply be present with those simple joys helps me process complex emotions gradually. It’s normal to feel unsure or to struggle with painful emotions without having a clear explanation or resolution in sight. Instead of pushing those feelings away, I try to accept them as part of my experience and remind myself that it’s okay to have moments where I don’t have the answers. Turning to gentle distractions, such as engaging with light entertainment or the unconditional affection of a pet, provides a much-needed emotional reset. Through this approach, I’ve learned to embrace the ambiguity of feeling 'nothing more'—neither fully happy nor entirely sad—and to give myself permission to just be. This mindset has helped me navigate through tough times without judgment or pressure to feel a certain way. Sharing these moments openly encourages others to acknowledge their own unsure feelings, normalizing emotional uncertainty as a shared human experience.
