Seoul✨
My recent trip to Seoul was an absolute dream, especially for my taste buds! If you're looking for authentic Korean experiences, the food scene is truly unforgettable. I snapped so many photos, I just had to share them with you all – it was a true Korean food adventure! First up, I indulged in some classic Korean fried rice, perfectly topped with two fried eggs and a sprinkle of shredded seaweed – such a comforting and satisfying dish! And you absolutely cannot go to Seoul without having Korean BBQ. We grilled up fresh cuts of chicken and green peppers right at our tabletop grill, surrounded by a colorful array of banchan (small Korean side dishes). The smoky flavor and tender meat were just divine, making it an experience as much as a meal. Another highlight was the fresh bibimbap from Bonjuk Bibimbap. The mix of rice, a perfectly fried egg, and a stir-fried medley of octopus, mushrooms, onions, and carrots was a burst of flavors and textures in every single bite. I also tried a super spicy stir-fried octopus dish, garnished with sesame seeds – definitely for those who love a good kick! The vibrant colors and fresh ingredients made every dish a feast for the eyes and the palate. But let's talk about the street food! Seoul's bustling street markets are a paradise for snack lovers. I tried the adorable heart-shaped pastry with a floral design, which was sweet and warm, perfect for a chilly evening. And of course, the classic bungeoppang, a dark brown, fish-shaped pastry – a quintessential Korean street snack that’s a must-have. I even found unique treats like a large, toasted marshmallow on a stick and surprisingly refreshing candied grapes (like tanghulu!) presented on a skewer in a white paper tray. Every corner offered something new and exciting to try, making me wish I had more stomach space! Exploring Seoul through its food was an incredible journey. From bustling markets to cozy restaurants, every meal was an adventure and a photo opportunity. Don't be afraid to try everything – even the cute cat mascot statue I spotted adds to the vibrant atmosphere of shopping areas. If you're planning a trip to South Korea, definitely put Korean food high on your list. These photos barely do it justice, but hopefully, they inspire your next culinary escapade to Seoul!
