I went there on Saturday and Sunday in August.
I made a reservation about a month ago and there were only two rooms left, so I think it would be good to make a reservation as soon as possible if you want to go with multiple people.
The dome tent had three semi-single beds and a sofa, and the water area such as a shower and a toilet was in another building in front of me.
The place to have barbecue and breakfast was on the deck outside, and there was a mosquito net, but I felt that insects were gathering in the light. There was no insect bite.
Because Candle Night was held at Kogen Church in Karuizawa in August, I made a reservation and went there. It took about 30 minutes by car and I could not make it in time for the hot spring, so I think that those who want to enjoy the time of the facility can spend leisurely without making other plans. Board games and card games can be rented at a place like the management office, so I enjoyed it so much that I did not have enough time.
I could see fireworks far away on the day I happened to stay, so if you look at the timing and make a reservation you can see a very nice view.
It was very cozy and I could spend leisurely as a summer resort, so I would like to go again.
「軽井沢で星空がきれいなグランピングをしたい」って探している人向けに、私が泊まって感じた“星空目線”のポイントを追記します。 まず、星空の見え方は「晴れ」だけじゃなくて“光”の影響も大きいです。ドームテント周辺は夜にライトアップされて雰囲気が最高なんですが、写真を撮るときは照明が明るくて星が写りにくいことも。私は、部屋の外に出て少し暗い位置に移動して空を見上げたら、星がぐっと見えやすくなりました。スマホ撮影なら、夜景モード＋手ブレしないように固定（ミニ三脚があると便利）がおすすめです。 次に、部屋選び。今回のドームはセミシングルベッドが3台で友達同士でも使いやすかったです。室内はソファもあって、窓から遠くの景色が見えるので“夜は外で星→寒くなったら室内でぬくぬく”の流れができました。グループで行くなら、星を見る時間とおしゃべり時間の両方が作れるのが良かったです。 食事はBBQがかなり充実。お肉やソーセージ、パプリカ・ズッキーニ・とうもろこしみたいな野菜も揃っていて、外のデッキで食べると一気に非日常感が出ます。デッキには蚊帳が張ってあったものの、灯りに虫が寄る感じは少しあったので、気になる人は虫よけスプレーや長袖を持っていくと安心。私は刺されなかったけど、念のため準備しておくと夜の星空タイムに集中できます。 あと意外に大事なのがスケジュール。軽井沢は周辺スポットが多いので、つい予定を詰めたくなるんですが、星空をしっかり楽しむなら“夜の時間”を空けるのが正解でした。私は高原教会のキャンドルナイトに行ったら片道30分ほどで、戻りが遅くなって温泉時間に間に合わない場面も。施設内でボードゲームを借りられたりもするので、宿でのんびりする前提で予定を組むと満足度が上がります。 最後に、予約のコツ。夏の土日は1か月前でも残りわずかだったので、星空目的なら天気予報とにらめっこしつつ、候補日を複数持って早めに確保するのがおすすめです。運がいいと、私みたいに遠くで花火が見える日もあって、星空＋夜景で最高の夜になりました。
