The King Director-General of Bhutan, along with members of the royal family of the Kingdom of Bhutan, held a prayer ceremony and offered 1,000 butter lamps, paying tribute to her son, King Phra Pashrkitiyapha.
On June 12, 2026, King Director-General of Bhutan, King Director-General of the 4th Drukgelpo, Queen and Queen Shearing Pem Wangchuk, along with members of the Royal Family of the Kingdom of Bhutan, went to perform a Buddha prayer and offered 1,000 butter lamps at the Kunray Grand Rectory inside Tachyosong, Thimphu, to be charitable and to pay tribute to Her Majesty, Prince Pashrakitiyapha Narentira Phyidhi, Royal Regiment Sirapacharapatra Mahavajarakorn, who died on June 11, 2026.
In this regard, the chief executive of the government of Bhutan, members of the Thai community in the Kingdom of Bhutan, as well as officials from the Thai Honorary Consular Office for Bhutan, participated in the ceremony in unison.
Her son, Prince Pacharkitiyapha Narentirathedi, Royal Thai Red Cross, has been a great daughter in King Maha Vajiralongkorn at Vajiralongkorn, having been admitted to Chulalongkorn Hospital since December 2022. Throughout his life, he has been widely loved, respected and praised by Thai scholars with his passion for public interest mythology, especially justice, the protection of women and children, as well as serving in the Thai military with determination and sacrifice.
The Kingdom of Bhutan and the Kingdom of Thailand have a strong and long-standing relationship, with the royal family, the government and the people of Bhutan expressing their deepest condolences to His Majesty, the royal family and the people of Thailand for this significant loss.
