It was such a beautiful experience. I loved it and I was so emotional. The precious night I went through hell but I made it./Fue una experiencia tan hermosa. Me encantó y estaba muy emocionada. La noche anterior pasé por un infierno, pero lo logré. Thank you @Memorial Sloan Kettering #fyp #spanishtiktok #cancersucks #fightingcancer #cancerawareness
During my stay at Memorial Sloan Kettering, I encountered a night full of physical and emotional challenges that truly tested my strength. The nurses struggled for almost five hours to find my veins, which was incredibly painful and exhausting. Despite my usual high pain tolerance and strong spirit, that night left me feeling broken and vulnerable. What touched me most during that difficult time were the acts of kindness from the hospital staff. All the nurses on the floor, including the night nurses who knew exactly what I was going through, treated me with exceptional care and compassion. Their support made me feel truly appreciated and less alone in my struggle. The day after, Memorial Sloan Kettering arranged for a visit from Cherry, the hospital dog, whose calming presence brought comfort amid the ongoing fight. Additionally, a talented musician played a song I chose, brightening my day and lifting my spirits. These thoughtful gestures play an important role in healing, providing emotional relief and hope beyond medical treatment. From my experience, I learned that fighting cancer is not just about enduring physical pain but also about embracing the support of others. The dedication of healthcare professionals and the small moments of kindness can transform the most harrowing experiences into ones filled with gratitude and hope. I hope sharing my story encourages others facing similar battles to find strength in community and kindness, knowing that they are not alone on their journey.
Music is therapeutic! I hope you enjoyed it 🔥
