Fall Simmer Pot Recipes

I have been on a small journey to start switching household items, to non toxic products. With this being said being a home fragrance lover, I knew candles, wax melts etc needed to go because they are so toxic. However I still wanted my home to smell good.

With that being said I have a new found love… it’s called a simmer pot!!!

A simmer pot is a simple, natural way to fill your home with a pleasant aroma using ingredients you likely already have in your kitchen. It involves gently simmering a pot of water infused with herbs, fruits, and spices on the stovetop, releasing their scents into the air.

How to Make a Simmer Pot:

1. Fill a small pot with water.

2. Add aromatic ingredients like citrus slices, cinnamon sticks, herbs, or spices.

3. Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce to a simmer, letting the steam carry the fragrance through your home.

I have a mini crock pot and that’s what I use for my simmer pots it’s the best!! I can keep her going all day and night I just add a little water when it starts to get low
