I did it
Y’all I did it I got approved for my start over apartment with just my babies and I. I left my toxic relationship. Which honestly was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. But god works in mysterious ways.
For people who have been asking there is a link in my b!o for my wishlist to help out with my new place. It’s not recommend but so appreciated.
Leaving a toxic relationship is one of the most challenging and courageous steps anyone can take, especially when children are involved. From my personal experience, the decision not only involves emotional readiness but also navigating financial and legal hurdles to secure a safe and stable home for yourself and your kids. The moment I found out I was approved for my new apartment felt like a huge victory—proof that prioritizing our well-being is possible despite the difficulties. What helped me the most was building a strong support system, including friends, family, and online communities of single moms starting over. These connections provided emotional encouragement and practical advice about finding affordable housing, managing budgets, and rebuilding confidence. I also created a wishlist to gradually equip my new home with essentials and small comforts. Though I don’t expect assistance, the support I received was deeply appreciated and made the transition smoother. If you’re going through something similar, remember that seeking help is a strength, not a weakness. Trusting in faith and taking one day at a time helped me endure the bittersweet emotions of leaving behind a toxic past while embracing a hopeful future. For anyone on a similar journey, know that putting yourself and your children first is the bravest step toward a better life. It’s okay to celebrate the small wins and lean on your community during the hard days.
