When I feel that distance creeping in, I often remind myself of moments when His word says that nothing can separate me from His love. It's not Him moving; it's usually me getting caught up in the noise of life or my own worries. That's when I turn to specific scriptures that act like anchors for my soul. For instance, when I need reassurance that He's still *there*, even when I don't feel Him, I meditate on verses like Deuteronomy 31:6: 'Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.' Or Hebrews 13:5: 'Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.' These aren't just words; they’re divine promises that stand the test of time, and they’ve brought so much peace to my heart.
