Being saved doesn’t mean we are perfect!
Allowing God to change me second by second, minute by minute, hour by hour, and day by day! ♥️
Living as a Christian often means wrestling with imperfections, even after accepting salvation. From personal experience, embracing God’s love continuously requires courage and daily commitment. For instance, I sometimes struggle with accepting that God loves me unconditionally, especially when I feel unworthy due to my flaws or mistakes. This internal conflict is a common part of faith journeys and highlights the difference between salvation and perfection. One challenge many face is dealing with gossip—not just refraining from spreading it, but resisting the temptation to listen or engage with it. In moments of weakness, it’s easy to let curiosity or social pressures pull us in, but recognizing its negative impact encourages us to choose uplifting and supportive conversations instead. Comparison is another subtle struggle. Seeing others seemingly ahead in their spiritual walk, relationships, or life achievements can create feelings of inadequacy. However, remembering that each person's path is unique helps to refocus on personal growth and gratitude. Fear and anxiety may also creep in despite knowing God hasn’t given us a spirit of fear. It’s important to acknowledge these moments without guilt and intentionally reinforce faith through prayer, scripture, and community support. Finally, putting God first requires intentional effort, especially in a world filled with distractions like phones and social media. Making deliberate choices to pray and engage with the Bible daily fosters spiritual renewal. Overall, being saved means we're invited to a lifelong process of transformation, not immediate perfection. God’s unwavering love and willingness to work through a willing heart empower us to keep growing, learning, and leaning on Him daily.
