it’s lowkey such an honor to be so hard to figure out just by simply existing as my natural born self 🥹
Navigating the world as someone whose identity isn't immediately clear to others can be both challenging and profoundly empowering. From my own experiences, I’ve found that being perceived as enigmatic or hard to categorize invites curiosity, which can lead to deeper conversations about identity and self-expression. Many people face questions like "Is this a boy or a girl?"—a common query that highlights society’s often binary view of gender. However, for those of us who naturally defy simple classification, these questions underscore the importance of embracing fluidity and authenticity. Rather than feeling pressured to fit into predefined roles, it's been liberating to simply exist as my true self. This experience has taught me that there's an honor in being complex and multifaceted. It opens opportunities to challenge stereotypes and to educate others about the spectrum of human identity. When embraced positively, this ambiguity can become a powerful statement of individuality that influences others to reconsider their assumptions. Ultimately, living authentically—regardless of how others might try to define us—is a form of self-respect and courage. It allows us to connect more genuinely with people who appreciate and accept us fully. Embracing the natural complexity of one's identity not only enriches personal growth but also contributes to a more inclusive and understanding society.
