HOW TO GET PR WITHOUT FOLLOWERS📦💌

i get a lot of questions about how to get pr packages so I’ll answer some below!

1. how do you get pr packages?

sometimes brands will email me asking to send their product in exchange for some sort of content whether it’s stories, ugc, in-feed videos, etc. I also personally dm and email brands that I want to work with!

2. how do you reach out to a brand?

here’s a simple dm script I like to use:

Hi [Brand Name] Team,

My name is () and I’m a (niche/niche) creator based in (your location). I love creating content surrounding (niche/niche) and I’d love the opportunity to work together! Linked here are some examples of my content: (link).

Look forward to discussing this potential collaboration!

Kind Regards,

(Your Name)

Let me know if you guys have any other questions and I’ll answer them in my next unboxing vid!😋🫶

... Read moreGetting PR packages when you’re starting out can feel challenging, especially without a significant following. However, brands are increasingly recognizing the potential of micro-influencers who engage authentically with their audience. To succeed in your outreach: 1. **Create a Portfolio**: Before reaching out, curate a selection of your best work that showcases your style and engagement. Highlight previous collaborations or user-generated content to build credibility. 2. **Craft Personalized Messages**: While templates can be helpful, personalizing your DM increases your chances of a response. Research the brand, reference specific products you like, and explain how your content aligns with their marketing goals. 3. **Utilize Social Media**: Share your thoughts and reviews on products from brands you love, tagging them in your posts. This not only gets their attention but demonstrates your interest and commitment to promoting their products. 4. **Build Relationships**: Follow brand representatives on social media, engage with their posts, and participate in industry-relevant discussions. By establishing genuine connections, you increase your chances of being considered for PR opportunities. 5. **Be Persistent but Polite**: Not all brands will respond immediately. If you don’t receive a response, it’s okay to follow up gently after a week or two, reiterating your interest in collaboration and mentioning any new content you’ve created. By applying these strategies, you can cultivate relationships with brands, securing PR packages despite a lack of followers. Remember, quality content and authentic engagement matter more than numbers!
