Round Ligament Pain😅

How early can round ligament pain start?!

Seems crazy to me to be experiencing it already at 20 Weeks Pregnant.

Although I haven’t confirmed this with my OB but the symptoms ALL match up. I googled it OKAY..😂

“Round ligament pain (RLP) is a common pregnancy discomfort that usually starts in the second trimester and continues until delivery. It's caused by tension in the round ligaments that support the growing uterus.”

Have you experienced this? If so, how early?

Definitely going to be a fun 20 more weeks for me! 🤰🏼 #lemon8partner #pregnancysymptoms #roundligamentpain #pregnant #pregnancy

... Read moreRound ligament pain (RLP) is a typical discomfort in pregnancy that can surprise many expecting mothers. Usually starting in the second trimester, it is often misattributed to other pregnancy symptoms. Women may feel sharp pains or aches in the lower abdomen as their uterus expands, putting pressure on the round ligaments. While RLP is commonly linked with the second trimester, some mothers report noticing these symptoms even earlier, around 12-14 weeks. Factors that may influence the onset include the mother's activity level, weight gain, and genetic predispositions. If you're experiencing RLP, stay informed on exercises that can alleviate discomfort. Gentle stretches and prenatal yoga have been recommended by many healthcare professionals, offering relief and maintaining flexibility. Additionally, consider discussing your experiences with your OB or midwife for personalized advice. Online forums and pregnancy communities can also provide support, as you can connect with other women who are navigating similar discomforts. Sharing tips or just knowing that you're not alone can make the journey more manageable.
