Read moreIf you’re staying around Myeongdong and want to enjoy the beautiful autumn foliage without spending too much time traveling, there are several great spots within 1-2 hours by train or car. One of my favorite nearby locations is Namsan Seoul Tower and its surrounding Namsan Park. It’s very close to Myeongdong and offers lovely fall colors with walking trails that are perfect for casual photoshoots, especially if you want some natural autumn leaf backdrops for a pre-wedding shoot. Another option is Seoul Forest, which combines a peaceful forest atmosphere and urban vibes, and is pet-friendly—good news if you’re traveling with your dog. For a slightly longer trip, about 1-1.5 hours away, the Garden of Morning Calm is an absolute must-see. It’s famous for its beautifully landscaped gardens and vibrant autumn foliage. Many couples choose this spot for outdoor pre-wedding photography, so hiring a photographer here could capture truly picturesque moments. Regarding hanbok rentals, trying on hanbok in Seoul is a fun cultural experience and makes for beautiful photos, especially with autumn leaves as your backdrop. There are many hanbok rental shops in nearby areas like Insadong and Bukchon Hanok Village. Just make sure to pick a rental place that allows outdoor shooting so you can maximize your photo opportunities. As for shopping and relaxing, Myeongdong itself offers plenty of shops, but if you want to visit pet-friendly stores and cafes, check out neighborhoods like Hongdae or Garosugil. They have trendy concept stores and even some cinnamon roll cafes that locals rave about. Perfect for a relaxing afternoon after your shoot. Lastly, if you plan to hire a photographer, consider reaching out to local photographers who specialize in autumn pre-wedding shoots. They often know hidden gem spots with the best autumn colors and can guide you to less crowded areas, making your photo session both effortless and stunning. Overall, blending autumn leaf viewing, hanbok experience, pet-friendly shopping, and hiring a photographer are all possible within short travel times from Myeongdong. Just plan ahead and enjoy the vibrant fall season in Seoul!
