God’s hand is in the pressing…
This is what I heard in my spirit: Elasticity.
I looked it up, and here’s the definition:
“The ability of an object or material to resume its normal shape after being stretched or compressed.”
And immediately, I thought…
You won’t even look like what you’ve been through in this next move of your life.
Personally speaking, this is a season of pruning for me.
And while pruning doesn’t sound favorable, it’s necessary.
It often feels lonely… but guess who’s always there? God.
He will take your worries and concerns…and discard them…if you give them over to Him.
Sometimes, you have to let God work it out in you
So that you can become the best version of yourself…for His glory.
Because truthfully, you’re not at your best when you haven’t allowed the process to complete.
And when the process becomes a burden that overtakes you, it delays the fruit that God wants to bring through you.
It reminds me of Jesus…
Pressed on every side.
Even though He was Jesus, He still endured the process.
He took His pain to the Father in the Garden of Gethsemane, which literally means “olive press.”
“And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.”
Luke 22:44 (KJV)
Even Jesus, in His pressing, bore much fruit…
And He still is today, by the power of His name.
Let God press it out…so He can work it out in you.
Because after this… you will bear much fruit.
Your testimony will be great.
