How’d your 2024 go?
2024 was an absolute whirlwind—one of the best, craziest, and most beautiful years of my life. Little me would be losing her mind because so many of my childhood dreams came true. I laughed until my stomach hurt, cried until I couldn't anymore, and loved harder than ever. I learned the art of setting boundaries with some people and making peace with others. Oh, and I accidentally turned my house into a zoo because I clearly have no self-control when it comes to animals. At this point, l'm one llama away from being a full-blown farm.
I had my ultimate main character moment when I got engaged where *The Notebook* was filmed. I mean, can we talk about *peak romance energy*?
I also discovered that while I think I can do it all, I actually cannot. Case in point: remodeling one of our rental apartments *almost* entirely by myself.
(I survived, but barely.) I started a business, which was both terrifying and exciting, and I even faced a stint of depression that felt like it would never end. But guess what? I made it through, and I came out stronger.
On top of all that, I made new friends who feel like they've been in my life forever. 2024 taught me so much about who I am, what I want, and how far I can push myself before saying, 'Yeah, no, that's enough.' I can't wait to see what 2025 has in store
—hopefully a little less chaos, but knowing me, that's wishful thinking. Cheers to another year of growth, love, and probably more animals | *don't* need but will absolutely adopt anyway.
As we transition into 2025, many individuals reflect on their past year, often prompting questions on personal growth and life changes. 2024 was marked by various significant global events, such as a renewed focus on mental health awareness and the ongoing impact of social media on our lives. Mental health conversations have gained traction, urging people to seek help when experiencing difficulties, much like the author's journey through depression. Establishing boundaries has become essential, leading to healthier relationships. Additionally, pursuing personal passions—like starting a business—demonstrates a growing trend where individuals prioritize self-fulfillment and entrepreneurship in their careers. Animal adoption, as humorously noted in the article, has also seen an increase, showcasing a culture shift towards animal welfare and companionship. As we embrace 2025, let's carry forward the lessons of resilience, love, and embracing our true selves.
