my week :)

Starting physical therapy (PT) again after a follow-up showed me how crucial consistent care is for getting back to activities I love—like Pilates. When my therapist gave me the green light to return to Pilates, it felt like a huge victory, and I couldn’t help but get emotional about the progress. One thing I found really helpful during my recovery is keeping active with indoor walks, which may seem simple but really boosts morale and fitness even in limited mobility phases. Tracking my indoor walks over 30 minutes and covering over a mile gave me motivation to push a little further each day. Sharing moments with family also kept this week special. Watching movies together, like 'The Right Stuff' with my son, brought a lovely touch of normalcy and comfort. These personal connections make the healing journey feel less isolating. On a lighter note, reconnecting with close friends who safely returned was a heartwarming end to the week. Seeing them again reminded me how important social support is—sometimes, just sharing a moment or a laugh is the best therapy. Reflecting on this week, I realize that progress isn’t always about huge leaps but appreciating those small wins—whether it’s gaining approval to resume Pilates or the joy of a movie night with family. I hope this recap inspires others facing recovery or personal challenges to celebrate their own journey step by step.
