Growing my hair out
Whheeeww it took me all of 4 hours to take my extra small box braids out…. My arms were on fire.. I only took 2 breaks to snacks and sip my juice! Now look at my hair, how big it’s gotten, and fuller. I’m very impressed.. getting them again for my birthday in June! ♊️♊️
Taking down box braids can often feel like a long process, but the results are undeniably worth it. Many individuals find that after keeping their braids in for an extended period, such as two months, they see significant hair growth and volume post-take down. After carefully removing my extra small box braids, I noticed not only the visible growth but also how much fuller my hair felt. This experience has reiterated to me the importance of hair care during and after protective styles. To maintain healthy hair growth following box braids, it's essential to nourish your scalp and strands. Incorporating oils like castor oil or jojoba oil can greatly help in promoting healthier hair. Additionally, ensuring you stay hydrated and eat a balanced diet filled with vitamins and minerals is critical. These practices not only enhance the growth process but also prevent breakage and promote overall hair health. As I prepare to re-braid my hair for a special occasion—my birthday in June—I'm excited to implement new techniques I’ve learned from fellow enthusiasts. Engaging with communities that focus on hair growth, whether through social media hashtags like #healthyhair or #newgrowth, offers a wealth of information and support. I'm looking forward to sharing my insights and continuing to document my hair journey as I explore more about maintaining length, health, and style.
