🤫 Harsh Truth 🤫

You can only be as strong or successful as your limiting beliefs ➡️ I believe this is a statement we all have to come to terms with when we start our fitness/wellness/health journeys.

No one said it would be easy, but limiting beliefs are the ideas we’ve created in our mind that hold us back from reaching our goals and becoming the best version of ourselves. These can be anything from “I could never use that workout machine because I’ll look silly” to “I’ll never be able to lose this weight”

It’s time to get delusional (in the healthiest way possible)! Identifying your goals is important, but you also must identify what you think are roadblocks in your way, and find a way to completely knock them down. Once you start believing that you can do things and you can be unstoppable, I’m sure the results may shock you!

It's essential to recognize that these beliefs are not facts; they are simply perceptions you've held onto. By challenging these assumptions, you can create a more empowering mindset. To start, consider journaling about your fitness aspirations and the self-imposed limitations you're facing. What specific thoughts come to mind when you think about working out or making healthy choices? Are these thoughts based on past experiences, societal expectations, or fears? Once you identify these patterns, you can consciously replace them with positive affirmations. For example, change “I could never run a mile” to “Every step brings me closer to my goal.” Moreover, surrounding yourself with a supportive community can amplify your progress. Seek out workout buddies, join fitness classes, or participate in online challenges where positivity and motivation thrive. Engaging with others who share similar goals can provide accountability and encouragement. Remember, overcoming limiting beliefs is a journey, and every small victory counts toward building the confidence needed to conquer your fitness ambitions.
