#letschat Tonsillitis? Ever had it as an adult? What were your symptoms?

2025/3/9 Edited to

... Read moreTonsillitis is an inflammation of the tonsils that can affect adults, often leading to symptoms such as swollen white patches on the uvula, red swollen tonsils, throat redness, and even a gray furry tongue. Adults experiencing these symptoms should consult a healthcare professional for accurate diagnosis and treatment options. While tonsillitis is commonly viral, bacterial infections like streptococcus can also lead to this condition. Key treatment strategies include staying hydrated, throat lozenges, and over-the-counter pain relief. In some cases, antibiotics may be necessary if a bacterial infection is confirmed. Recognizing the signs early can help manage the severity of the illness and improve recovery time. Always seek medical advice if symptoms worsen or persist.

My mom had some nuns take my tonsils out and it was so bad I had a fever. She took me to our private doctor and he asked my mom who took her tonsils out (WITCH DOCTOR) HE SAID it looked like they ripped them out!! I was 9 years old and when they put me under they used ether !! back in the day.
