i got an iphone 16!
i’m really happy because i got a new phone yesterday!!
my 11 pro max wasn’t in the best shape anymore. it would get hot easily, lag, couldn’t hold a charge, my 2x camera was broken, screen was cracked and more. last week i tripped with it in my hand and the screen got impacted so the bottom half of it stopped working. at first i was able to use it in a very specific way, but as the days went on it just got worse. now i can’t even put in my passcode so i can’t access my phone at all 🥲
thankfully i preordered the 16 and it came the day after my phone stopped working! it feels so nice to finally have a functioning phone again. it was a good idea to upgrade since my phone was 5 years old and hardly worked, even before the screen died.
i chose to get the base model 16 because i don’t feel i need all the features of a pro. i also chose to downgrade in size because i wanted a smaller phone that would fit in my hand easier. i dropped my old phone a lot and i believe it’s because of the size. i also wanted to have a cute color! i love the teal so much 🩵 it reminds me of hatsune miku lol. i really like the two cameras and the placement of them as well. it reminds me of the older iphones, even though the cameras are much bigger now.
so far it’s working nicely for me! i like all the upgrades they’ve added since the 11. i’m most excited to utilize the camera control. i think it will be a nice feature, especially since it’s the quickest way access the camera. it’ll be perfect for those moments where you quickly want to snap a picture or record a video before it goes away!
are you guys upgrading this year? i would really recommend it if you have an older phone like i did!
