How to take sunset pictures in GZ Bubble Tram 🌅
1. Get tickets via Klook to make sure you can go up! Costs about $50 per pax! 🥹
2. Choose your time slot wisely (4-6pm)! I checked the weather forecast and made sure my timeslot was the time where the sunset was going to happen!
* it depends on luck too, it may be too foggy and the sunset may not show or not as prominent as the pictures I shared
3. Depending on the queue for the bubble tram, try to time it wisely so you can make it for the sunset while you are in the bubble tram! I queued about 40 minutes before the estimated sunset time! Queue was long that day as I went on 31st Dec!
4. Use a good camera 📷 ! For these pictures, I used my Kodak Pixpro FZ55 with force flash and default settings!
5. Take as many pictures first!! The bubble tram lasts for 20 minutes only so its important to take MANY pictures
If you’re planning to photograph the sunset from the Guangzhou Bubble Tram, timing is everything. From my experience, booking tickets early through platforms like Klook not only guarantees your spot but also helps avoid last-minute hassles. I suggest arriving about 40 minutes before sunset to beat the long queues, especially on busy days like New Year’s Eve. Remember that weather conditions play a big role—sometimes the sunset might be hidden behind fog or clouds. Checking local weather forecasts can help optimize your chances for a clear view. When it comes to equipment, a decent camera with manual settings is ideal, but even smartphone cameras can work if you adjust exposure and focus. Taking multiple shots is key since the tram ride is only about 20 minutes. Frequent shooting increases your chances of capturing that perfect moment. Don’t forget to keep your camera steady, either by using a small tripod or stabilizing against the tram window to reduce blurriness. And lastly, enjoy the experience—it’s not just about the photos but the breathtaking views and unique ride that make the trip memorable.
