🦉 This piece is inspired by the Mexican Spotted Owl (Strix occidentalis lucida), an endangered species in parts of Mexico and the U.S.

Deforestation, wildfires, and habitat destruction are threatening their survival.

💔 Protecting our forests means protecting species like this one too.
