Educate yourself on Electric Cars
This was my first time renting a electric vehicle. I was terrified when they told me I had one… so then I was like let me change cars and they said it will be $25 EXTRA per Day I said that’s ok… I only want to use the car for it’s only purpose… and that’s to drive… so I can to pick up the car at 8:55 am. I asked the lady at the customer service desk did they have a grace period. She said NO. So from me saying all that I will conclude this diary challenge… I will be dropping off the car a day early 🙄 because I have to turn it back on around 8:55 am… so hopefully I get a refund.
As electric vehicles (EVs) gain popularity, it's essential to understand their benefits and challenges. EVs are known for being environmentally friendly, offering reduced emissions compared to traditional vehicles. They can also save you money on fuel costs over time due to lower electricity rates compared to gasoline prices. However, first-time renters may face challenges, particularly in understanding charging infrastructure and vehicle functionality. Charging an EV can vary from location to location; ensure you locate charging stations ahead of your trip. Knowing your vehicle's battery level and planning for charging stops is crucial, especially for longer trips. Many rental companies now offer electric options, enabling drivers to experience this innovative technology. As the market continues to evolve with advancements in battery technology and charging capabilities, the experience of renting or buying an electric car is becoming more user-friendly.
