I’ve heard so many people say there’s no good way to study for math courses, either you know the information or you don’t… that’s not true!
I have used this method for all my math classes from algebra 1 up to calculus 3 and differential equations
I go to ALL of my lectures and take detailed notes. Colored pens are super helpful to color code steps of a problem and vocab words.
After lectures I review my notes and try to do every question from lecture on my own!
I also do all of my homework and get extra practice questions from my teacher! When I do the homework I write out detailed steps on what to do and underline or highlight important information.
When studying for math, reading notes is not enough. It’s important to use an active learning approach to math courses and math heavy courses such as chemistry and physics!
