PICKY TODDLER HACK

When it’s hard to get them to eat any proteins or veggies, break it down for them in something they really enjoy eating.

For instance, mixing steamed broccoli or carrots into rice can enhance both flavor and nutrition. Another method is to make a delicious broth from boiled proteins like chicken or salmon and blend it with veggies. This broth can be used as a sauce for pasta or rice, making it more appealing to young children. Experimenting with different textures and flavors is key. For instance, adding colorful veggies or using fun shapes can make meals more enticing. You might also consider engaging toddlers in the cooking process, allowing them to choose ingredients or help with mixing. This involvement can pique their interest and encourage them to try new foods. Remember, patience and creativity are essential in turning mealtime into an enjoyable experience for both you and your toddler.
