Prayers do come true ✨

RELATIONSHIP TALK ✨🤍

I went to a church where people said, “When you pray here, your prayers will be answered.”

I walked in carrying guilt, regret, and a heart full of tears. I prayed for forgiveness. I prayed for my marriage. I prayed that God would restore what I had broken.

I thought it would be just another prayer—just like the countless prayers I’ve whispered every day and every night.

But this time, something changed.

God didn’t give me exactly what I asked for.

He gave me the answer I needed.

He reminded me that everything will be okay. He asked me to be patient. To improve myself. To understand my husband’s pain instead of only focusing on my own. To heal. To grow. Even if, for now, that journey means walking separately.

Maybe love isn’t always about holding on.

Maybe sometimes, love is giving someone the space to heal without giving up on them.

If it’s God’s will, when we’re both healed… when we’re both ready… we’ll find our way back to each other—not only for our daughter, but for the family we’re both praying for.

I’ve learned that God’s answers don’t always come in the form we expect.

Sometimes His answer is:

“Not yet. Trust Me.”

So I’ll keep praying.

I’ll keep growing.

I’ll keep becoming someone worthy of the second chance I’m asking for.

And if that day comes, my daughter and I will welcome him home with open hearts.

God’s timing is always better than our own. 🤍

... Read moreFrom my personal experience, I’ve realized that faith isn’t just about asking for what we want, but also about trusting the process and timing that’s beyond our control. When you pray, especially in moments of deep regret and pain, it’s easy to expect instant answers. However, the real transformation happens when we open our hearts to God’s guidance, which often encourages us to heal ourselves first. In difficult times, I found that understanding the other person’s pain was key to my own growth. Instead of focusing solely on my hurt, seeing my husband’s struggles helped me develop compassion and patience. This spiritual journey of self-improvement and empathy was crucial to restoring hope in our marriage. Giving space doesn’t mean giving up. Sometimes, love requires patience and allowing each person the time to heal individually. This space can strengthen bonds rather than break them. From experience, when both partners work on themselves and trust in God’s timing, the relationship can come back stronger, rooted in forgiveness and mutual understanding. I’ve also learned that prayers don’t always come true in the way we expect. Often, the answer is "Not yet, trust me," which means being patient while continuing to grow and prepare ourselves for the blessings to come. This helped me maintain faith and stay hopeful, knowing that God’s timing is better than mine. Maintaining a prayerful mindset while putting in the work to heal and improve made me feel worthy of a second chance. I encourage anyone facing similar struggles to embrace this journey of faith and growth. Keep praying, keep healing, and trust that the right time will come to reunite and rebuild stronger relationships, for them and their loved ones.
