淡路夢舞台公苑のあわじグリーン館へ訪れた際の体験をもう少し詳しくシェアさせていただきます。私が訪れたのはスプリングフェスティバル期間中で、さまざまな季節の花と多肉植物が見られました。特に印象的だったのは『翡翠色の奇跡』と称されるヒスイカズラで、宝石の翡翠のような鮮やかな青色がとても美しく、写真映えも抜群でした。 この植物園は天井の高さが約20メートルもあり、壮大な空間はまるで別世界。温かい光が降り注ぎ、室内ながら自然の中にいるような感覚を味わえます。亜熱帯地域原産の多肉植物や南国の花々は、日常生活ではなかなかお目にかかれないので、植物好きはもちろん、インスタ映えスポットとしてもオススメです。 さらに、設計者の安藤忠雄氏ならではの無機質なコンクリート建築とのコントラストが美しく、植物を主役にした巨大なアートギャラリーのような空間が広がっています。この点は写真撮影好きな方に特に満足いただけると思います。 また、屋内施設なので天候に左右されず、雨の日の観光にも最適です。淡路島は自然豊かですが天候が不安定な時もあるため、こちらは雨の日プランとしてぜひ覚えておいてほしいスポットです。交通アクセスも神戸淡路鳴門自動車道淡路ICから車ですぐなので、気軽に立ち寄ることができます。 入場料は大人750円、 シルバー370円、高校生以下は無料とお手頃価格。駐車場も完備されています。植物と建築が融合した空間でゆったりとした癒しの時間を過ごしたい方にはぴったりのスポットです。淡路島観光の際はぜひ訪れてみてください。
