Why I returned my kindle colorsoft 🤧

I am not going to lie I loved the new kindle, but the size difference from my kindle basic and the kindle colorsoft was the biggest reason to why I returned it. The system and response time worked way faster compared to my kindle basic. The second reason was the yellow line at the bottom of the screen, at the beginning it did not bother me at all but it gradually started to go upwards, I don’t use the warm mode simply because I don’t like it and it was distracting me while I read. I do hope that in the future Amazon decides to release more sizes.

The choice between Kindle models, such as the basic version and ColorSoft, often weighs heavily on ergonomics and user experience. One major concern is the unintended distraction caused by screen defects, such as yellow lines, which can significantly affect reading comfort. While the increased response time and advanced features of the ColorSoft are appealing, the physical dimensions often do not cater to every user's preference. Many potential buyers express a desire for a wider range of sizes that could fit various reading habits. Moreover, adjusting to the warm mode can also impact the reading experience. Users who prefer a standard light might find it challenging to get accustomed to warmer tones. The insights into feature comparisons, user feedback, and potential improvements from Amazon illustrate a growing need for more customizable Kindle options that meet diverse consumer expectations.

I know they are supposed to have an update for the yellow line everybody is complaining about but the quality of the screen just seems terrible.
