Why I Love Being Alone 🕯️

As I get older, my peace has become the most valuable thing I own. I used to feel like I always needed to be doing something — calling friends, making plans, trying to fill my time. Now? I crave quiet mornings, solo walks, and coming home to my own space.

It’s not that I don’t enjoy people — I do. I just love them in moderation. A nice lunch or a few hours out, then back to my sanctuary. ✨

Being single has taught me how to pour into myself instead of chasing someone else to fill the silence. Don’t get me wrong, I’d love a relationship one day — but not at the expense of my hard-earned peace.

The more I embrace solitude, the more grounded, confident, and whole I feel. There’s something powerful about knowing you’re not waiting for anyone to start living your life.
