And honestly… that’s what matters most.

Because real progress isn’t about having perfect weeks.

It’s about not quitting when things feel off.

What helped me most was accepting that not every week has to be peak performance. Instead of pushing myself into exhaustion or frustration, I simplified my approach by focusing on consistent habits—showing up for workouts even if they were lighter, prioritizing high-protein meals without overthinking nutrition, and making space for mental rest. Breathing exercises and mindfulness also played a big role in helping me slow down mentally without feeling guilty. This balance reminded me that progress in body recomposition and fitness is a marathon, not a sprint. Tracking my small wins, like sticking to the basics despite feeling off, helped me build trust in the process. It’s important to remember that days or weeks of feeling ‘less than’ are natural and don’t mean failure. The key is to keep moving forward—showing up, nourishing your body, and caring for your mind. If you’re currently in a tough week, I encourage you to focus on fundamentals: keep meals simple and protein-rich, prioritize manageable workouts, and take moments to breathe and reset. This approach not only prevents burnout but also ensures sustainable progress over time. Remember, your journey is unique, and embracing imperfection can be one of your greatest strengths.
