💪🏾 You Don’t Need a Gym to Transform Your Body
When I first started my fitness journey, I thought I needed a gym membership, expensive equipment, and a complicated workout plan to lose weight.
I couldn’t have been more wrong.
I lost 50+ lbs, and now I’m almost 2 years into my journey and about 6 months into maintenance and body recomposition—and these four YouTube creators have been a huge part of that process.
If you’re looking for free workouts, here are the channels I recommend the most:
🏋🏽♀️ 1. FitByMik ⭐️ My Personal Favorite
If I could only recommend one channel, it would be FitByMik.
I’ve been consistently doing her workouts for about a year, and I genuinely believe they’ve helped transform my body.
I consider her workouts beginner-to-intermediate, especially if you’re ready to challenge yourself with strength training.
✨ What I love:
* Lots of low-impact workouts
* Dumbbell-focused strength and sculpt sessions
* Great for building muscle during body recomposition
* 30–45 minute workouts that fit into a busy schedule
* I never get bored because she has so much variety!
These are the workouts I currently follow the most, and I absolutely love them.
🔥 2. growingannanas
If you’re looking for a challenge…
growingannanas is AMAZING.
Her workouts are definitely more advanced and higher impact, so I’m still working my way up to doing them consistently.
But every workout I’ve tried has pushed me in the best way.
She also has such positive energy that makes you want to keep going.
🚶🏽♀️ 3. growwithjo
This is who I recommend to almost every beginner.
When I first started exercising, her walking cardio workouts helped me build consistency without feeling overwhelmed.
Her energy is contagious, and I love that she’s relatable.
She’s lost weight and transformed her body herself, so she’s living proof that her methods work.
If you’re nervous about starting… start here.
🌸 4. MadFit
MadFit was actually the very first fitness YouTuber I ever followed.
I loved how calm and encouraging she was.
She has workouts for every fitness level, and I think she’s one of the easiest creators to start with if you’re new to exercising at home.
Her videos helped me realize that workouts don’t have to leave you feeling defeated to be effective.
❤️ Your Fitness Journey Is Personal
One thing I’ve learned over the last two years is that there isn’t one perfect workout for everyone.
The workout you enjoy is the one you’re most likely to stick with.
For me, I’ve discovered that my sweet spot is:
✔️ Sculpt-style workouts
✔️ Medium-weight dumbbells
✔️ Low-impact strength training
That may change as I continue my body recomposition journey—and that’s okay.
Don’t be afraid to experiment until you find what works for your body.
And if a gym membership isn’t in your budget right now?
Don’t let that stop you.
YouTube is completely free, there are incredible trainers to learn from, and you can build strength, lose weight, and completely transform your body right from your living room.
These four women helped change my life, and I hope they help someone else, too. ❤️💪🏾✨
