熱海駅前温泉浴場は「熱海駅 温泉」「熱海駅 銭湯」系で探している人にかなり刺さる場所だと思いました。駅近なので、到着してすぐ汗を流したい時や、帰る前にサクッと温まってから電車に乗りたい時に便利です。私は“熱海 駅前 温泉浴場”で見つけて行きましたが、想像以上に共同浴場らしい空気感があって印象に残りました。 外観は青い「ゆ」の看板が目立って、写真で見ると入りやすそうに見えます。入口まわりは整っている一方で、館内に入ると一気にレトロ。女湯側は赤い「ゆ」の暖簾で、障子風の仕切りもあって「昭和のまま」という表現がしっくりきました。観光施設っぽい演出ではなく、普通に“地元の浴場”として使われている感じです。 気になっていた内湯はシンプル派。派手な露天やサウナ目当てというより、「源泉そのままの純温泉で温まりたい」人向けだと思います。入浴後は体の芯がポカポカして、熱海散策の疲れがスッと抜ける感覚がありました。 設備面で役立ったのがロッカー。脱衣所には無料ロッカーが並んでいて回転も早めな印象でした。さらに“大きな荷物用ロッカー”があって、スーツケースも入るサイズが100円で使えます。熱海駅前はコインロッカーが埋まっている日もあるので、これはかなり助かるポイント。休憩室には椅子や鏡、テレビがあり、ドライヤーも使えるのが地味にうれしいです。 持ち物は、タオルがない人でもフェイスタオル（石鹸付き）を100円で買えます。シャンプー・リンスは各50円、せっけんも50円なので、手ぶらでも最低限どうにかなります。私は身軽にしたくて小さいタオルだけ持参、足りない分は現地で調整しました。 注意点は駐車場がないこと。電車＋徒歩が向いています。あと、熱海駅のバス乗り場を使う予定がある人は、入浴後の時間配分に余裕を見ておくと安心。営業時間は14:00〜21:00、水曜定休なので、旅程に組み込むならそこだけ要チェックです。
