One of the key exercises I'm personally super focused on for a snatched waist is the Dead Bug. Seriously, if you haven't tried it, you need to! It looks simple, but it's incredibly effective for deep core stabilization. To do it right, lie on your back with your arms extended towards the ceiling and knees bent at a 90-degree angle, directly over your hips. Slowly extend one arm straight back behind you while simultaneously extending the opposite leg forward, hovering just above the floor. Keep your lower back pressed into the mat – that's the secret! Return to the start and alternate sides. The challenge suggests 3x10 per side, which is a perfect rep range to really feel that burn and engage those core muscles without straining your back. It’s fantastic for strengthening your transverse abdominis, which helps 'cinch' in your waist. Beyond the Dead Bug, a strong core is essential for that hourglass shape, and the challenge includes other amazing moves. I've been practicing Side Planks (3x30sec) – these are killer for your obliques and really help define the sides of your waist. To get the most out of them, make sure your body forms a straight line from head to heels, and lift your hips high! Then there are Plank Jacks (3x30sec), a dynamic way to get your heart rate up while engaging your entire core. And don't forget Penguin (3x30sec); this one is great for targeting those side abs and improving core stability. These aren't just random exercises; they're all carefully chosen to work together for maximum impact on your waistline and overall core strength.
