I am FURIOUS. Let me tell you how Lemon8 completely screwed me over with this TikTok partnership. Before the merge, I had already linked my TikTok and Lemon8 accounts—everything was set up perfectly. But once they decided to permanently merge with TikTok, they connected my Lemon8 account to my husband’s TikTok, just because his account was logged into my phone at the time.
I reached out to Lemon8 for help, and all they had to say was, “It is permanent.” Seriously?! That’s it?! No way to fix it, no solution, no nothing. So now my account—one I’ve worked so hard to grow—is permanently stuck with the WRONG TikTok account.
This merge was a complete disaster, and Lemon8 clearly doesn’t care about the creators who built their platform. If you’re going to make changes like this, at least give people the option to confirm or fix their account links. I’m so done with this.
Has anyone else dealt with this mess? Or am I the only one getting burned by this “partnership”?
