why you should get the canon sx740 HS!

I don’t even need to elaborate much, if you see the photos you’ll know what i mean!

I’ve been eyeing this camera for over a year now & I couldn’t find it around Singapore for several months as it has been discontinued. I initially went to the courts store at JEM early this year to enquire & the staff said I could call and check-in with them monthly to see if there was any stocks arriving. I did for each month & & I’m so glad I finally managed to get the camera before my Europe trip! I got it for $659 SGD which is the RTP!

All the photos are taken straight out of the camera with no filters or editing which is a factor that I really love. As I find myself usually having to edit photos taken with my iPhone ><

This is a much affordable option if you don’t wish to splurge on the G7X! I love the G7X cameras but it’s really too costly so I had to settle for this camera but no regrets! I love the shots & zoom-in function.

... Read moreThe Canon PowerShot SX740 HS continues to impress users in 2024 because of its unique blend of portability, zoom capability, and image quality. Even though it has been discontinued in some markets, fans still praise its reliable performance, especially when compared to more expensive alternatives like the Canon G7X. One of the standout features is the 40x optical zoom lens, which offers incredible reach for capturing distant details, making it ideal for sightseeing or wildlife photography. I’ve found that this zoom range is perfect for getting close-up shots without carrying bulky equipment. The camera also benefits from user-friendly controls and compact design, so it fits easily in a bag or even a large pocket. For me, this convenience means I’m more likely to carry it around, resulting in more spontaneous and vivid shots. Lighting conditions can be tricky on the go, but the SX740 HS handles them well, with quick autofocus and decent flash support that helps brighten dim scenes. While it doesn’t have the bells and whistles of flagship models, its balance of price and quality makes it excellent for beginners and travel lovers alike. Overall, investing in the Canon SX740 HS is a smart choice if you want a versatile, no-fuss camera for capturing memories with impressive detail and clarity.

is this THE canon g7x dupe??? 🤔🤔🤔
As many of y’all know, the Canon G7X is almost always sold out, and I also came across some news recently that Canon has officially discontinued the G7X M2 and M3 (tho I’m not 100% sure how true that is). On top of that, with resale market prices going for $1.3k+++, it’s definitely way out of budge
