How much I spent in Jeju for 6D5N as a solo female traveler

Spent my 2nd solo trip to Jeju! 🍊 A really calm, quiet and serene place that’s ideal for solo travelling, though transport can be a little inconvenient. But honestly, that’s part of the charm — taking things slow, wandering around without a fixed plan, and just enjoying my own company. 🌿☁️

... Read moreTraveling solo to Jeju Island offers a unique chance to immerse yourself in a tranquil and beautiful environment while managing your budget effectively. From personal experience, one of the best parts of Jeju is its calm atmosphere that invites slow and mindful exploration. Despite some transportation challenges, using a combination of city tour buses and ferries provides an authentic way to discover both Jeju City and nearby locales like Udo Island. Accommodation can be surprisingly affordable on Jeju, as I found with the Champion Hotel at $28 SGD per night—a good balance of comfort and cost. To save more, booking in advance and considering guesthouses or hostels might also be great options for solo travelers. Food in Jeju is another highlight and offers budget-friendly yet delicious choices such as the thick pork cutlet meals I enjoyed, costing around $55 SGD in total for the trip. Sampling local specialties like Jeju mandarin oranges and green tea products is also a must; these make perfect souvenirs and add to the local experience. For activities, Jeju provides plenty of free or low-cost options—like hiking, visiting scenic spots, or taking commemorative photos at photobooths, which I did for less than $10 SGD. These simple pleasures contributed to a rich travel experience without stretching my budget. Overall, my trip costing around $693.80 SGD covered flights, lodging, transport, food, and small activities, making Jeju a reasonable destination for solo female travelers seeking both peace and adventure. If you’re planning your own journey, I recommend pacing yourself, embracing the slower pace, and focusing on local experiences instead of pricey tours.

What to do in Jeju for 8D7N 🏝️
We spent 8 days and 7 nights in Jeju in winter. Instead of driving, we travelled around Jeju using Kakao Taxi for the whole trip instead. It’s pretty easy to go about but for some places which has lesser human traffic it is slightly harder to get a cab. We stayed at Jeju city for the whole trip and

My tips on... DRIVING IN JEJU FOR THE FIRST TIME! The process was a smooth one, thankfully! From obtaining the IDP to booking and even getting the car from Lotte Rental. ❗️You need to walk out from the airport and find the Car Rental Shuttle Bus area (2-3mins walk) ❗️ The signboard was in
