Although 37 mutuals may be small to some, it’s definitely mighty to me! I always follow back because when I logically think about it, there really is no point not to. Especially if the person who followed me is also trying to create content themselves. Yes, there is a benefit in having more followers, but for some reason I think we’ve convinced ourselves that if more people follow us than we follow others then somehow that gives us less social currency. As someone who works in Sales I have realized my most successful relationships both lucratively and personally have been with those who I share a mutual benefit with. I show them the same love, care, and respect that they show me and there is an equal exchange of energy.
