My favorite things about my state!

I’ve visited many states! But my favorite will always be my state. Michigan. Surrounded by fresh water. You can travel a few hours and have a great weekend getaway. Beautiful views! My state isn’t always on everyone’s bucket list to visit but it should be. So many hidden gems to find! Maybe I’ll share some of them with you guys!❤️

Michigan is often underestimated as a travel destination, but it is brimming with hidden gems just waiting to be discovered. Green spaces such as the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore offer breathtaking scenic views and hiking opportunities. Detroit, known as the Motor City, boasts a rich history and a burgeoning food scene. Meanwhile, Grand Rapids is famous for its craft breweries and diverse restaurants. For those seeking relaxation, Michigan's numerous lakes and state parks provide picturesque spots to unwind. Places like Lake Michigan's shoreline feature stunning sunsets and sandy beaches, making them ideal for a weekend getaway to enjoy nature's beauty.
