My Block....
You ever had the chance to go back where it all began??
I did this earlier in the year. I had a gig working near my old neighborhood and decided to do some exploring. Things have really changed....I remember my street, my grandparents' home, everything being so much bigger!
Walking around brought back so many awesome memories 😄! Vacation Bible school, stealing plums off Miss Agnes' tree....stick ball games under the bridge, holiday block parties....watching my Granddaddy and his friend play checkers on the porch...LAWD when either my Moma or my Granny was cooking Sunday dinner. The whole block smelled like Thanksgiving and LOVE.
