What is the Last Thing You Read?
Hey friends, so I wrote and published my first book in December of 2019 entitled: Beauty Beyond the Break….. it is still very much my baby even though I have 2 other Collaborations I am apart of as a Co-Author.
This book is about overcoming Childhood Abuse, Sexual Trauma, and Surviving the Foster Care System. It speaks to and encourages anyone who’s ever felt rejected, abandoned, abused and traumatized. There is a place called beauty that you still can get to! You deserve to Heal . Take a read and let me know what you think?🤔

Hey fellow readers and seekers of healing! I wanted to share some thoughts on why certain books, especially those that take us on a deep dive into personal journeys, resonate so profoundly with us. When I think about 'soul-searching titles' that truly make you reflect, it's often the ones that bravely tackle difficult subjects, shedding light on paths to overcome adversity. My own experience with writing 'Beauty Beyond the Break' taught me so much about the power of storytelling, not just for the author, but for every single person who picks up the book. These kinds of reads aren't just stories; they're invitations to explore our own inner landscapes. They can help us process our past, understand our present, and envision a hopeful future. For anyone who has ever felt alone in their struggles with trauma, abandonment, or abuse, finding a book that echoes your experiences can be incredibly validating. It’s like finding a companion who truly understands, whispering, 'You are not alone in this.' The journey of healing, as explored in books like 'Beauty Beyond the Break', isn't always linear, but each page can be a step forward, a moment of recognition, or a burst of inspiration. This is also why 'monthly group reads' or 'book club' discussions around such powerful narratives are so vital. There's a unique magic that happens when you share your interpretations and feelings about a book with others. It transforms a solitary reading experience into a communal journey of discovery. Imagine discussing themes of resilience, forgiveness, and the search for inner beauty with a group of supportive individuals. You get to hear different perspectives, offer empathy, and receive understanding, creating a safe space to talk about things that might otherwise feel too heavy to carry alone. When choosing a book for a group, especially one focused on healing and personal growth, look for titles that offer depth and a clear arc of transformation. Books that don't shy away from vulnerability, yet always point towards hope, are excellent choices. For instance, pondering how characters in 'Beauty Beyond the Break' navigate their challenges can spark profound conversations about our own coping mechanisms and strengths. Discussion prompts could revolve around moments of courage, turning points, or how the characters redefine 'beauty' in their lives. You could ask: 'What moments in the story resonated most with your own experiences?' or 'How did the protagonist find strength in vulnerability?' Participating in a book club centered on 'soul-searching titles' can provide a structured way to engage with tough topics, encouraging open dialogue and mutual support. It’s not just about reading; it’s about connecting, sharing, and growing together. If you're looking for a book that offers both a poignant personal story and rich ground for group discussion, I truly hope you consider diving into 'Beauty Beyond the Break'. It's been my deepest wish that this story helps others find their own beauty beyond the breaks in their lives.
