Hidden Late-Night Gem: Opened till 1am

If you're a fan of sweet treats late at night, Waff Waff is definitely worth a visit. Besides their delicious original waffles that perfectly balance crispiness outside and fluffiness inside, their gelato flavors like Peach Oolong and Pistachio offer a refreshing and rich contrast that's quite unique compared to typical dessert spots. One of my favorite things is that they stay open till 1am, making it a great place for those late-night cravings when most cafes have closed. I also appreciate that the place is pet-friendly, which is rare for dessert shops nowadays, so you can bring your furry friends along. The combination of a cozy ambiance, both indoors and outdoors, adds to the nights when you just want to unwind with a sweet treat. In addition to waffles and gelato, they offer a variety of iced drinks like jasmine green tea and milk teas, giving you options if you want a lighter companion to your dessert. The menu even lets you customize with toppings, which we haven't tried yet but plan to on our next visit. For fellow waffle lovers, trying the mochi waffle or the nian gao waffle is on my to-do list, and I’m curious about their premium gelato flavors too. Parking and accessibility at the 608 Ang Mo Kio Ave 5 location are convenient, so getting there late at night is hassle-free.
