🥪 Grinder Sub Sliders — Hawaiian Roll Style 🤤
These Grinder Sub Sliders might be the best thing I’ve made all month. Perfect for game day, dinner, or when you just want something hot, melty, and loaded.
What you’ll need:
• 1 (12-count) pack King’s Hawaiian Savory Butter Rolls
• Pepper Jack cheese
• Pepperoni
• Salami
• Turkey
• Ham
• 1 pack Precooked Bacon
• 6 slices Provolone cheese
• ¼ cup Butter, melted
• 1 tsp Italian seasoning
For the Grinder Slaw:
• ¾ cup Mayo
• ¼ cup Red wine vinegar
• ⅓ cup Sweet onion dressing
• 1 tsp Italian seasoning
• 2–3 cups Shredded lettuce
How to make them:
1️⃣ Slice the rolls in half (keep them all connected).
2️⃣ Layer in order: Pepper Jack → Pepperoni → Salami → Turkey → Ham → Bacon → Provolone.
3️⃣ Brush the tops with melted butter + Italian seasoning.
4️⃣ Bake at 350°F for 10 min until melted + golden.
5️⃣ While baking, mix up the grinder slaw (mayo, vinegar, sweet onion dressing, Italian seasoning). Toss in lettuce.
6️⃣ Add the slaw on top of the melted sandwiches, replace the roll tops, slice, and devour 😋
These are unreal. Cheesy, toasty, and that tangy grinder slaw brings it all together.

Grinder sub sliders are a fantastic twist on traditional sandwiches, especially when paired with the unique sweetness of King's Hawaiian rolls. This combination brings a delightful balance of flavors, with savory meats and cheeses complemented by the buttery, slightly sweet roll. The recipe calls for layering pepper jack cheese, pepperoni, salami, turkey, ham, precooked bacon, and provolone to achieve a hearty, flavorful bite. The homemade grinder slaw, made from mayo, red wine vinegar, sweet onion dressing, Italian seasoning, and shredded lettuce, adds a refreshing tang and crunch that elevates the sliders beyond ordinary. Baking these sliders at 350°F for 10 minutes melts the cheese perfectly and toasts the tops golden brown, sealing in all the flavors. Using specific ingredients like CROFTON brand pepper jack, pepperoni, salami, turkey, ham, and bacon, as mentioned in the accompanying OCR content, can help you achieve authentic taste and quality. Incorporating the melted butter with Italian seasoning brushed on top further enhances the sliders’ aroma and flavor. These sliders are ideal for game day, quick dinners, or casual gatherings—easy to serve and packed with satisfying ingredients. For variations, you might consider adding pickles, banana peppers, or a drizzle of additional vinaigrette to customize the tanginess. Experiment with other cheeses like mozzarella or Swiss for different melty textures, or swap meats based on your preference. The buns’ ability to hold all the fillings together while offering a sweet contrast makes this recipe stand out. Overall, Grill sub sliders on King’s Hawaiian rolls are a flavorful, crowd-pleasing treat that combines convenience with gourmet taste. Perfect when you want something hot, melty, and packed with savory goodness, these sliders deliver robust flavors with a hint of sweetness and tang that keeps you coming back for more.
