what ruins my room?
#whatruinsmyroom Lets be honest here.
I live in a small apartment, there really not much space to work with. I have my 4 year old toys out here. There no where else to put them.
I want to make it more aesthetic looking.
Living in a small apartment definitely comes with its unique challenges, especially when it comes to keeping the room tidy and visually pleasing. I totally relate to having limited space and needing to store things like children's toys in the main living area. One trick I've found helpful is using multifunctional furniture—like ottomans or benches with internal storage—so toys can be tucked away neatly but remain easily accessible. Additionally, incorporating vertical storage solutions such as shelves or hanging organizers can free up floor space and reduce clutter. Choosing a cohesive color scheme for toy bins and decor can also blend the toys more naturally into the space, helping the room feel less chaotic. Regarding things that might 'ruin' the room's look, items that are oversized relative to the room size, or too many mismatched elements can overwhelm the senses. For example, I also use a door curtain to subtly divide space without closing it off, adding texture while saving room compared to a full door. Overall, small rooms can be made more aesthetic with thoughtful organization, intentional decor choices, and clever use of storage. It’s about balancing functionality with style to create a space that feels comfortable and looks inviting, even with constraints like toys and limited square footage.
