Thryft Hub’s Closing Sale (2025)
Have all along been a fan of their books during the start of Circuit Breaker in 2020 when lockdown began and people had to stay indoors.
Thoroughly enjoyed our hour there at their closing sale, browsing some children’s’ books (now that we’ve an infant with us, these books are like gem), vinyls, clothing and more.
We scored some vinyls and a few children’s books, all for the price of $50. Not too bad I’d say! They had a 40% off promotion so it made our visit even more worthy :)
Thanks for the memories!
Visiting Thryft Hub's closing sale felt like rediscovering a treasure trove, especially for those who appreciate sustainable shopping and unique finds. Besides their well-loved children's books and vinyl records, the store offers an eclectic mix that appeals to various interests, including vintage books and stylish secondhand clothing. For shoppers like me, the 40% discount made the experience even sweeter, allowing me to grab quality items without breaking the bank. It’s great to support stores that promote sustainability by giving preloved goods a new life, reducing waste, and encouraging mindful consumption. If you’re in Singapore and missed this sale, it’s worth keeping an eye on similar warehouse sales or community events where secondhand gems pop up. Apps like Thryft might also offer access to exclusive deals or help you connect with sellers of vintage and rare items. Don’t hesitate to explore these spaces—you might find unique gifts or collectibles that tell their own story. Beyond shopping, the ambiance of Thryft Hub created a cozy, community feel, making every visit more than just a transaction. It’s these memories of browsing with family and friends that truly highlight the value of such local hubs. I hope more places like Thryft continue to flourish, offering both great deals and a sense of connection to the past and present.
