From the City of Brotherly Love to the The Bay 🥨➡️🌉

It’s been 10 years since my family drove into Clayton, CA to start a new life and I’m finally ready to show you what made me fall in love with the Bay.

Welcome 100 Things to Do in the Bay ✨

I’ve spent the last few months focusing on how exactly I want to move forward as a traveler and this is it. Showing you the in-between travel, what traveling at home looks like.

So without further a due Let’s fall in love with the Bay together 🏔️❤️

... Read moreHaving lived in the Bay Area for a decade, I can genuinely say that this region is a treasure trove of diverse experiences. From stunning natural landscapes like Mount Tamalpais and the Marin Headlands to vibrant urban neighborhoods such as Oakland and San Francisco's Mission District, there’s always something new to discover. One thing that truly captivated me about the Bay is its blend of cultures and communities. Whether it's trying delicious food at the Ferry Building Marketplace or exploring local farmers' markets, you get a real taste of the area's rich heritage. The East Bay, often overlooked by travelers, holds many hidden gems — local coffee shops, art murals, and quiet parks that offer peaceful escapes amid city life. I highly recommend taking time to explore both well-known landmarks like the Golden Gate Bridge and less touristic spots like the Lafayette Reservoir or the Albany Bulb for unique outdoor adventures. As someone who has had the chance to watch the Bay Area change over the years, I believe you don't have to travel far to have a fulfilling travel experience—sometimes the best journeys are those within your own backyard. This approach of discovering “100 things to do” is about savoring the small moments and places that make this area feel like home. Whether it's attending local festivals, hiking along coastal trails, or simply enjoying a sunset over the San Francisco skyline, each experience adds to the story of why I have fallen in love with the Bay. I hope my insights inspire you to embark on your own local travel adventure and uncover the beauty and uniqueness that the Bay Area holds.
