Prayer Board Inspo 🙇🏽♀️
I’ve been saying I wanted to do a prayer board for the longest time and I FINALLY created one! I felt so much joy after looking at the finished product. My prayer board keeps me grounded and connected to God daily!
The topics I chose were:
🩷Family & Friends - I have a family of 4 and it is mandatory I make sure to cover them in prayer. Also, my friends! I don’t have many but the few God has blessed me with I pray He show up for them how He’s shown up for me 🙏🏽
🩷School - I recently began studying for my MSW and we all know how distractions like to creep in and get us off focus! Prayer through grad school is going to be my best friend because w/o God I am nothing. And I know my strength comes from the Lord 🙌🏽
🩷Career - I’m currently not working at the moment and while seeking employment it’s important that I get a job doing something that I love and can grow in. I don’t want to settle for just anything so I’m asking God to show up strong in that area.
🩷Self - I am growing daily on my walk with Christ. The enemy is offended that I uprooted my life to live for Christ and no longer the world. I pray daily for myself that I don’t become weak and fall into the traps the enemy has set up, but to grow stronger in my faith and continually build my relationship with Abba! I need God daily and if it had not been for Him I’m not sure where I would be.

My board features segments for 'Family & Friends,' 'School,' 'Career,' and 'Self,' but your categories should reflect what's most important in your life right now. Maybe you want to focus on 'Health & Wellness,' 'Relationships,' 'Financial Goals,' or 'Community Service.' Take some time to reflect on the areas where you desire God's guidance and intervention the most. Once you have your topics, start brainstorming what to put in each section. This is where you bring your prayers to life visually! Beyond just writing down specific prayer requests, consider adding elements that uplift and affirm your faith. For instance, my board includes handwritten prayers, but also powerful affirmations. I love seeing phrases like 'I Am Worthy,' 'Balance,' and 'I RISE ABOVE ALL LIMITATIONS' right there, reminding me of God's truth about who I am. Incorporating favorite Bible verses that speak to your specific categories can be incredibly powerful. If you're praying for strength, perhaps a verse like Philippians 4:13. For guidance, Proverbs 3:5-6. Inspirational quotes from spiritual leaders or even personal mentors can also add a wonderful touch. And don't forget visuals! A photo of your family, an image representing your career aspirations, or even a picture of a peaceful landscape can help visualize your prayers and goals. One of the most rewarding parts is making it a living, breathing testament to your faith. Don't be afraid to update it as your prayers evolve or as God answers specific requests. You can add new topics, replace old photos, or even write 'Answered Prayer!' next to a fulfilled request. This constant interaction makes the board a dynamic tool for reflection and gratitude. I keep my prayer board in a place where I see it every day – it serves as a constant, gentle reminder to pause, pray, and remain connected to my spiritual foundation. It’s not just a collection of wishes; it’s a tangible expression of trust and hope. So go ahead, gather your materials, pray about your intentions, and start crafting a prayer board that truly speaks to your heart. It’s a beautiful way to deepen your walk with Christ and experience His presence daily!
